What Acepyr does with your wallet

1. Linking is optional

You do not need a wallet to use Acepyr. Markets, predictions, scoring, and your testnet balance all work without one.

Your testnet $ACEPYR balance is recorded on the Platform whether or not you link a wallet, and that platform balance is the only one you can spend here. Trading uses it directly: a trade happens on the Platform, not on a blockchain, and it creates no tokens.

Linking a wallet adds two things. You can deposit — send testnet $ACEPYR from your wallet to Acepyr, and it credits to your platform balance once we've verified it on-chain. You submit that transfer yourself and pay the network fee in Base Sepolia test ETH. And you can redeem — we send testnet $ACEPYR back out to your wallet on Base Sepolia, a public test network, and we pay the network fee. Redemption is limited to one per 24 hours and has a minimum amount.

On-chain, everyone's tokens sit together in a single Acepyr wallet. Our ledger is what records which part is yours, so there is no separate on-chain balance in your name.

Without a linked wallet, none of that applies and nothing is lost: your balance works normally, never expires, and is never forfeited.

You can unlink at any time in account settings.

1a. What we ask before you link

When you choose to link a wallet, we ask a short set of questions about your background first: preferred language, age bracket, country of residence, years in crypto, and which chains you use.

This is a trade, and you can decline it. If you'd rather not answer, don't link a wallet: everything that matters (markets, predictions, scoring, your testnet balance, tournament entry, and being paid a prize) works without one. Tournament prizes can be delivered to a mailing address instead (Official rules §8.5).

Your answers are covered by Privacy Policy §4: used by Acepyr for our own research, never sold, never licensed, never shared. You can change or delete them at any time in account settings.

2. What we do with your wallet address

That's the list.

About that check. Where your wallet can produce one, we ask for a one-time signature: it demonstrates control of the address, costs no gas, moves nothing, and grants no spend permission. Not every path can produce one, so a wallet may also be linked on your attestation that the address is yours — you enter it, and we record that you told us it is yours. An attested link is not cryptographic proof of control, and Platform features that require a wallet proven by signature do not accept one.

3. What we do NOT do with your wallet address

This is the important section.

• We do not sell it.
• We do not license it to anyone.
• We do not include it in any dataset delivered to any buyer. There is no such dataset and no such buyer.
• We do not give it to marketers, ad networks, data brokers, or analytics vendors.
• We do not use it to contact you outside Acepyr.

Your wallet address is used by Acepyr, for Acepyr's own operation of the Platform. It goes nowhere else.

The only exceptions are the ones that apply to all your data: vendors who host our infrastructure under contract and process nothing for their own purposes (see Privacy Policy §11), and disclosure compelled by law.

4. What we can't do, technically

• We cannot move your funds. However the address was linked, the link grants no spend permission, no allowance, and no approval.
• We never ask for your private key or seed phrase. Nobody at Acepyr will ever ask. If someone does, they're not us.
• We can't recover your wallet. If you lose your keys, we cannot help.

A link is at most a signature — never a transaction. It costs no gas and moves nothing. A deposit is the one transaction that comes from your wallet, and it's one you choose to make and send yourself (§1).

5. About the testnet token

Testnet $ACEPYR has no value. It is a representative unit, a symbolic point system. It is not a cryptocurrency of any value, not a security, not currency. It carries no economic entitlement, no USDC claim, and no revenue share. It cannot be bought from us, at any price, ever, and it cannot be exchanged for money, cryptocurrency of value, goods, or services.

It does exist as a real token on Base Sepolia, a public test network, at contract 0xFA9D3ad93D1086008F9E548478bd0b87aCbBdD74. A test network is a practice network: the token on it has no monetary value, and neither does the test ETH you use to pay fees there. Nothing of ours is deployed on Base mainnet. Redeeming moves that valueless test token to a wallet you control — it is not an exchange for anything of value. You also may not sell, buy, or trade testnet $ACEPYR with anyone else (Terms of Service §3.3).

Acepyr intends to bridge testnet contributions to a future mainnet token, but:

• Conversion is not guaranteed at any ratio. No ratio has been set.
• The plan may be modified or cancelled entirely.
• A mainnet token may never exist.

If a conversion ever happens, a linked wallet would be one way it could reach you. That is a description of a mechanism, not a promise of a payment. Do not link a wallet expecting future value. See the Terms of Service and Economics.

6. Your wallet address is public anyway

Worth understanding: a wallet address is a public on-chain identifier. Anyone can see its balance and transaction history on a block explorer. That's true whether or not you link it to Acepyr.

What linking adds is the connection between that public address and your Acepyr account, and that connection is the thing we keep to ourselves.

If you'd prefer to keep your main wallet unassociated with your Platform activity, use a fresh wallet for Acepyr. That's a reasonable thing to do and we won't think less of you for it.

7. Unlinking

Unlink any time in account settings.

• The address is removed from your account.
• Your testnet balance is unaffected; it stays recorded on the Platform.
• We keep an audit record that a link and unlink occurred (not for delivery, but for security and fraud prevention).
• Unlinking moves nothing on-chain. Anything you already redeemed to your wallet stays there. It's yours, and it still has no value (§5).
• Deposit and redemption stop working until you link a wallet again. Nothing else changes.

8. Prizes

Acepyr may award tournament or contribution prizes at its discretion. A linked wallet may be how a prize reaches you.
