Testnet V2.0.2
Testnet $ACEPYR becomes a token you can hold and move — real tokens on Base Sepolia behind your balance, a deposit and redeem path between your wallet and the platform, and a public block explorer record you can look up yourself.
Released 4 September 2026. V2.0.2 is about one thing: testnet $ACEPYR is now a token you can hold and move, not only a number on your account. It builds on Testnet V2.0.1.

Acepyr is pre-mainnet. The $ACEPYR that exists today is a testnet token, a symbolic point system. It carries no economic value, no USDC claim, and no revenue share. It cannot be bought and may never have any value. Everything below runs on Base Sepolia, a test network — the tokens there are test tokens and the ETH there is free test ETH. For anything money-related, How Acepyr's economics work is the single source of truth.

New
Testnet $ACEPYR is a real token on Base Sepolia
Testnet $ACEPYR now exists as a token on the Base Sepolia test network, at a contract anyone can look up. The platform holds those tokens and keeps at least as many on-chain as the total of everyone's balances — so what your account says you hold is backed by tokens that actually exist.
Your balance still lives on the platform and is still what you trade with. Nothing about trading changed: markets settle the same way, your balance moves the same way, and a trade is not itself a blockchain transaction.
Your trades are not on the block explorer
The chain holds one pooled total, not a per-person balance, so you will not find your individual trades on the explorer. What you can look up there is your own deposits and redemptions — each of those is a real transaction with a hash, and it is yours to verify at any time.
Deposit and redeem
You can now move testnet $ACEPYR between your wallet and your platform balance, from the wallet panel in Settings.
| What happens | |
|---|---|
| Deposit | You send testnet $ACEPYR from your linked wallet. It credits to your platform balance once the transfer is confirmed — on Base Sepolia, effectively instantly |
| Redeem | You send testnet $ACEPYR from your platform balance to your linked wallet. Your balance falls when the redemption is accepted, and the platform pays the network fee |
The rules on both:
- You need a linked wallet. A deposit is pulled from it, and a redemption is sent to it. Without one, your balance still works normally — it simply waits, and it never expires
- Deposit from the wallet you linked. A transfer from any other address cannot be credited to you
- Redeems are limited to one every 24 hours. Deposits have no such limit
- There is a minimum on a redeem, and the panel names it if you go under
- A deposit is your own transaction, so you pay its network fee. A redemption is sent by the platform, and you pay nothing
- If anything fails, nothing changes. A failed deposit leaves your balance untouched; a redemption either completes or leaves your balance exactly as it was
Testnet ETH for gas
Because a deposit is your own transaction on Base Sepolia, your wallet pays its network fee in ETH on that network. Here is how to get some.
Base Sepolia ETH is free test ETH with no value. It exists to pay network fees on a test network, and that is all it does.
- Copy your linked wallet address from Settings.
- Open a Base Sepolia faucet, paste the address, and request test ETH. Some faucets ask you to connect the wallet or sign in first.
- It usually arrives within a minute or two. Come back to Acepyr — the wallet line updates on its own.
Even the smallest faucet claim covers many deposits.
Seeing the token in your wallet
Once your wallet is linked, Settings shows a button that adds testnet $ACEPYR to your wallet provider for you. If you would rather do it by hand, add the network first:
| Network name | Base Sepolia (testnet) |
| RPC endpoint | https://sepolia.base.org |
| Chain ID | 84532 |
| Currency | ETH |
| Block explorer | https://sepolia.basescan.org |
Then add the testnet $ACEPYR token contract:
0xFA9D3ad93D1086008F9E548478bd0b87aCbBdD74If something does not show up
If a deposit or a redemption does not appear, or your wallet will not connect: unlink your wallet in Settings and link it again. That resolves most cases.
Still not live
Unchanged from V2.0.1, and named here so nothing above reads as more than it is.
| Status | |
|---|---|
| The weekly $ACEPYR pool | Not paying out yet. Your share is recorded for each week you're valid and credited when tournament payouts open |
| Index markets | Built, but no index market has ever been listed. Both switches behind them are off, and there is no date. See Index markets |
| Weekly cash prizes | Not started. The pool, split and number of winners will be published here and in the Official rules before the first paid week runs |
| The email digest | Opt-in, and not currently sending. The in-product announcements feed is live and needs no setup |
| Anything on Base mainnet | Nothing is deployed to Base mainnet. Everything in this release is on the Base Sepolia test network, and a test token has no value |
