Testnet V2.0.1

The first wave of V2.0 upgrades — every pending faucet payout cleared, a higher daily faucet ceiling, your own avatar and banner, and the sign-in and wallet-linking fixes that were blocking mobile.

Released 29 August 2026. V2.0.1 is a fix-and-finish release on top of Testnet V2.0. Nothing here needs any action from you.

Acepyr is pre-mainnet. The $ACEPYR that exists today is a testnet token, a symbolic point system. It carries no economic value, no USDC claim, and no revenue share. It cannot be bought and may never have any value. For anything money-related, How Acepyr's economics work is the single source of truth.

New

A higher daily faucet ceiling, and the backlog cleared

The faucet runs against a daily ceiling, and ordinary play was reaching it — so achievements you had genuinely earned queued behind the limit instead of crediting. Two things changed:

  • The ceiling was raised well above the volume the platform actually generates, so a claim credits when you meet it
  • Every claim that had queued behind the old limit was paid. Anything that queues from here is settled on a daily payout run rather than waiting on a manual fix

Nothing about the catalog changed. What you're owed is still fixed at the moment an achievement is recorded.

The weekly tournament pool is still not paying

This does not cover the weekly tournament pool. Your share is still recorded for each week you're valid and credited when tournament payouts open.

Upload your own avatar and banner

Your profile picture and your profile banner are now yours to set. Open Settings, pick Upload, and choose an image.

  • Both surfaces take an upload — the avatar from the profile customizer's Upload tab, the banner directly from the My Account row
  • Up to 2 MB per image, resized for you: the avatar to a square, the banner to a wide band
  • Every upload is checked automatically before it goes live. Explicit, violent, disturbing and hate-symbol imagery is refused, and you're told when an image is rejected
  • Your new look shows up on your profile, on the leaderboard, and everywhere your name appears

The curated gallery is still there — uploading is an addition to it, not a replacement.

Referrals are visible from your profile

Your referral code no longer lives only in a settings screen.

  • A referral rail on your own profile, carrying your code and your standing
  • A Referrals row in the avatar menu, which deep-links straight to your profile's referrals tab
  • Your code is a copyable field on the identity card, not a buried setting

The mechanics are unchanged — what makes a referral count is still the three conditions on The Referral Race.

Fixed

Signing in

  • Mobile sign-in. A set of accounts could not sign in on mobile at all. The cause was found and closed
  • Signing in with a wallet on mobile. Tapping a wallet tile now opens the wallet app itself rather than stalling in the browser, and the handoff back into Acepyr completes. On iOS the deep link goes to the native app first
  • The session cookie. The mirrored acepyr_session cookie was scoped to a single host, so it never reached the API — which silently broke every surface that authenticates by cookie. It is now scoped to the whole domain

Linking a wallet

Wallet linking failed in two separate ways at once, and one of those paths had never successfully signed anyone in. Both are fixed, and connecting a wallet and linking one are now the same working rail. Unlink also moved back into its own column in Settings instead of rendering under the coin tile.

The mainnet waitlist

The waitlist is fully working end to end. It was reachable before, but the wallet-linking and cookie failures above stopped most people from finishing a join. With those closed, joining works from mobile and desktop, and both pending prompts now name the $10 holding minimum explicitly rather than leaving you to guess why you're held. If your wallet is under the minimum, your application is still held, not refused — see The mainnet waitlist.

Still not live

Unchanged from V2.0, and named here so nothing above reads as more than it is.
