Every week, Acepyr runs a tournament that is free to enter. Trade during the week and you're valid — and every valid player shares the weekly $ACEPYR pool.
Read this first
The $ACEPYR the tournament pays is testnet $ACEPYR: it is your standing on the platform, not money, and holds no economic value. Cash prizes are real-money discretionary awards governed by the Official rules and are entirely separate from testnet $ACEPYR. NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY, and no payment ever increases your chances of winning. Eligibility is limited (including 18+ and residency requirements). Where this page and the Rules differ, the Rules govern.

Earlier versions of this page described entering with a partner, with both partners required to play. That is no longer the format: entry is individual and free. Trading during the week is all that makes you valid.
How entry works
Just play
Entry is free and individual. There is no fee, no ticket, no partner, and no minimum balance to enter the tournament.
Make at least one real trade that week
You're valid for the week once you've taken at least one position that week. One real trade is the bar.
Compete on your own performance
From there it's a free-for-all. Every valid player competes on their own results for the week.
Weeks run on a fixed UTC schedule and settle after the week closes.
The $ACEPYR pool — every valid player shares it
A fixed pool of 10,000 $ACEPYR is shared among valid players every week.
The pool is divided pro-rata by settled trading volume across the week — the pool is fixed, so it divides across everyone who was valid, weighted by how much they actually traded. It is not an equal split.
$ACEPYR is your standing on the platform — earned only, never bought — so a week of showing up and playing always builds your record.
The tournament pool is not paying out yet
Other $ACEPYR routes now credit to your balance, but this pool does not. Tournament $ACEPYR is recorded for valid players and credited when tournament payouts open. Testnet $ACEPYR has no economic value in any case — see the Testnet Points Notice.
Cash prizes
Real-money weekly cash prizes are starting soon. The prize pool, the split, and the number of winners will be published here and in the Official rules before the first paid week runs.
Until then, no cash prize is being offered or awarded for the weekly tournament, and nothing on this page should be read as a current cash prize offer. When cash prizes begin they will be discretionary awards under the Rules — separate from your testnet balance, and not a promise that your testnet balance has value.
