$ACEPYR whitepaper
Proof of conviction: cheaper trading for the people who trade Belief Tokens. The planned design for $ACEPYR, draft 1.0.
Whitepaper 1.0, draft · 16 October 2026 · Luis, Brandon and Nihaal
Read this first
No $ACEPYR token exists. None will be created, allocated or promised until counsel has given a written opinion on the final design and a lawful route is available, such as the startup exemption in the SEC's proposed Regulation Crypto Assets once it is final. Until then nothing in this paper is a commitment, and no activity creates a right to $ACEPYR. This paper is not an offer to sell anything. Acepyr will never sell the token, never buy it, and never pay a return on it. $ACEPYR is never tied to any Claim's outcome, condition, vote, consensus moment or reputation score. Numbers marked proposal can still change. Nothing here is legal, tax or investment advice.
1. Summary
On Acepyr, every market is a Claim: a one-line opinion or judgment, launched by its creator as a pair of Belief Tokens, YES and NO, each trading on its own bonding curve on Base. Every buy and sell pays a 1% fee in USDC: 0.25% to the Claim's creator and 0.75% to Acepyr.
$ACEPYR lowers Acepyr's share.
- Lock $ACEPYR from your own wallet to reach a tier. The top tier takes 30% off Acepyr's share, so a trade's total fee falls from 1% to 0.775%.
- Pay part of Acepyr's share in $ACEPYR, from your own wallet, inside each trade you sign.
- Season rebates. Each quarter, verified traders receive $ACEPYR worth up to half the USDC they paid toward Acepyr's share.
- Nobody buys it from Acepyr. There is no sale of any kind.
- The supply is fixed at 1,000,000,000. Tokens spent on fees go back to the season reserve, to be earned again.
- Genesis comes only after counsel's written opinion and a lawful route.
2. The thesis: proof of conviction
A belief backed by money says more than a belief given for free. That is the idea behind every Belief Token. $ACEPYR applies it to the people who trade: it goes to verified people who trade Belief Tokens with real money, and it pays them back in cheaper trading.
1. Cheaper trading for the people who trade. Up to 30% off Acepyr's share of the fee, and a season rebate of up to half the USDC paid toward Acepyr's share.
2. No sale. No one bought $ACEPYR from Acepyr: there is no presale, no private round and no investor allocation. Investors own equity in Acepyr Inc., not tokens. The team holds 15% and the company treasury 17%, both locked on published, on-chain schedules.
3. The testnet shares 15%. People who use Acepyr's play-money testnet, at any time up to genesis, share 15% of supply, measured on how they used it, never on what they made.
4. One share per verified person. Every allocation needs Acepyr's identity check and goes to one person, however many wallets they link. Wash trading is banned and forfeits rebates, and at the season's average price a rebate is always worth less than the fees that earned it.
What it adds up to. Tier 4, illustrative. A trader buys and sells $2,000 of Belief Tokens in a month. The fee is $20: $5 to creators and $15 toward Acepyr's share. At Tier 4, Acepyr's share costs $9 in USDC plus $1.50 of $ACEPYR, so the trader pays $15.50 in total and saves $4.50. On the $9 of USDC, the season rebate can be up to $4.50 of $ACEPYR, valued at the season's average price.
3. Our commitments
These hold whatever else in this paper changes.
- We never sell it, and we never pitch it as an investment. No ICO, presale, private round or treasury sale. We describe $ACEPYR by what it saves you, never by what it might trade at.
- We never buy it, and we never pay anyone to. No buybacks, no price support, no market making with company money. Token spent on fees goes to the season reserve. Acepyr never receives it.
- One share per verified person. Every allocation goes to a verified person, counted across every wallet they link. There are no referral rewards and no paid promoters.
- It never touches a Claim. No vote, verdict, condition result, consensus moment, reputation score or judgment record earns $ACEPYR or changes a discount, and holding $ACEPYR changes none of them. Votes stay one person, one vote.
- Your funds stay in your wallet. Acepyr can't access your USDC, your Belief Tokens or your $ACEPYR. $ACEPYR is never margin, collateral or backing for anything.
- Locking lowers your fee, and does nothing else. A locked balance earns no interest, no yield and no share of anything. It sits in a contract that only you can unlock back to your wallet.
- The supply is fixed. All $ACEPYR is created once, at genesis, and nothing can create more.
- Everything is published. The release schedule, every season's total, every return to the reserve, every team unlock and every wallet the company controls are public and verifiable on-chain.
4. What you pay
Every buy and sell of a Belief Token pays a 1% fee in USDC: 0.25% to the Claim's creator and 0.75% to Acepyr. Nothing else is charged on the trade, apart from Base's network fee. $ACEPYR lowers Acepyr's share only. The creator's share never changes.
| Tier | To the creator | Acepyr's share, in USDC | Acepyr's share, in $ACEPYR | You save | Total fee |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 0, nothing locked | 0.25% | 0.75% | none | none | 1.00% |
| 1 | 0.25% | 0.675% | 0.01875% | 0.05625% | 0.94375% |
| 2 | 0.25% | 0.60% | 0.0375% | 0.1125% | 0.8875% |
| 3 | 0.25% | 0.525% | 0.05625% | 0.16875% | 0.83125% |
| 4 | 0.25% | 0.45% | 0.075% | 0.225% | 0.775% |
All figures are shares of the trade's value.
5. How the discount works
5.1 Lock to set your tier
Lock $ACEPYR from your own wallet into the lock contract to reach a tier. Only you can unlock it back to your wallet.
| Tier | Locked (proposal) | Per $1 of Acepyr's share: USDC | Per $1: $ACEPYR | Per $1: you keep |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 0 | Nothing | $1.00 | none | none |
| 1 | 3,000 $ACEPYR, or $300 worth | $0.90 | $0.025 | $0.075 |
| 2 | 15,000 $ACEPYR, or $1,500 worth | $0.80 | $0.05 | $0.15 |
| 3 | 45,000 $ACEPYR, or $4,500 worth | $0.70 | $0.075 | $0.225 |
| 4 | 150,000 $ACEPYR, or $15,000 worth | $0.60 | $0.10 | $0.30 |
Each row adds up to a dollar. At Tier 4, each dollar of Acepyr's share costs you 60¢ in USDC and 10¢ in $ACEPYR, and you keep 30¢.
Whichever is more tokens. Each tier needs the token amount or the dollar amount at the 30-day average price, whichever is the larger number of tokens.
Unlocking takes 30 days (proposal). Your tier drops when the unlock starts, and the tokens return to your wallet when it ends. The wait also stops anyone borrowing tokens to lock for a single trade.
5.2 Pay part of Acepyr's share in $ACEPYR
Turn on "Pay part of Acepyr's fee in $ACEPYR" in Acepyr's app and set a maximum. From then on, each trade you sign pays the token part of Acepyr's share straight from your wallet, inside that same trade. Nothing moves except in a trade you sign.
- Each $1 of $ACEPYR covers $4 of Acepyr's share (proposal), valued at the price in Section 10. The token part is counted in dollars, so your saving is the same whatever the token trades at.
- Your tier sets how much of Acepyr's share the token can cover: 10% at Tier 1, 20% at Tier 2, 30% at Tier 3 and 40% at Tier 4. The rest is paid in USDC.
- If your wallet has no $ACEPYR, or no price is available, the trade pays its fee fully in USDC. A trade never fails because of the discount.
- Tokens spent go to the season reserve, in the same trade, to be earned again by traders.
5.3 Two places your tokens can be
| Where | What it does | Getting tokens out |
|---|---|---|
| Your wallet | Pays the token part of Acepyr's share in trades you sign, if you turn it on, up to your maximum. Otherwise yours to hold or send | Already yours |
| Locked | Sets your tier. Never spent | 30-day unlock |
5.4 Where it applies
$ACEPYR applies to Acepyr's share of the fee on every Claim launched on a version of the market contract that supports it. From genesis, every new Claim launches on such a version. Contracts are immutable and Claims never move between versions, so Claims launched before genesis never carry the discount, and Claims launched after it carry it permanently.
6. How you earn it
6.1 Verified people only
Verified means Acepyr's standard identity check: a phone number matched against carrier records, plus name, date of birth, home address, email and a screened wallet. Acepyr asks for no Social Security number, ID upload or selfie. Account holders must be adults.
One share per person. Each person has one Acepyr account, however many wallets they link. A duplicate account is merged or refused and receives nothing extra. Several testnet accounts belonging to one person count as one.
Every claim and every release needs a fresh pass: a current check, a home address and connection in a place Acepyr serves (Section 12), sanctions and wallet screening, and an open account. Anyone who fails it receives nothing, and their unreleased parts return to the season reserve.
6.2 Season rebates
Most of the supply is released in quarterly seasons, starting at genesis, on a schedule published at genesis (Section 8).
- What counts: the USDC you paid toward Acepyr's share in the season. Not volume, not the creator's share, and not anything paid in $ACEPYR.
- Your share is set after the season ends, in proportion to what you paid.
- The cap. Nobody receives more in a season than half the USDC they paid toward Acepyr's share, valued at the season's average price (proposal). At that price, trading with yourself to collect a rebate always costs more than it earns.
- What earns nothing: wash trading, trades between wallets linked to the same person, trades a creator makes on their own Claims from linked wallets, and any trade flagged by Acepyr's surveillance. Wash trading is banned and forfeits the season's rebate.
- Nothing is wasted. Any part of a season's total that is not earned rolls into the next season.
Rebates follow from fees paid, and fees are bounded by Acepyr's per-trade and 30-day limits.
6.3 The testnet allocation
15% of supply goes to people who used Acepyr's play-money testnet and pass the identity check to claim.
- Every day counts, up to genesis. Testnet activity counts right up to genesis. There is no earlier cutoff.
- Two measures, weighted equally: days on which you traded, and distinct markets you traded, each compared with the median user. Play-money balances, profits and leaderboard positions count for nothing, voting counts for nothing, and play balances do not convert into $ACEPYR.
- No person receives more than 150,000 $ACEPYR (proposal). Anything above the cap is shared among everyone else.
- Known bot and farm accounts are excluded, and so is any account flagged by duplicate or linked-account checks at claim.
- Claim window: six months from genesis (proposal). Unclaimed allocations return to the season reserve.
- A quarter arrives at genesis. The other three quarters are released in 24 monthly parts. A part is released for each month in which you trade Belief Tokens with real money; a month without trading returns that part to the season reserve.
- It counts toward your tier while it is still unreleased.
6.4 The community allocation
3% of supply goes to verified adults who helped build Acepyr's community before genesis (proposal):
| Group | Share of supply | How it is allocated |
|---|---|---|
| Discord and community members | 1.25% | Tenure and contributions. Never message counts, predictions, leaderboard positions or votes |
| Community moderators and translators | 0.75% | By role and time served |
| Security and bug reports | 0.25% | By severity of verified reports |
| Waitlist members | 0.50% | A flat amount per verified person |
| Held back | 0.25% | Returns to the season reserve if unused |
These are grants for work done before genesis, never rewards for bringing people in or promoting anything. Amounts are published by wallet when the results are released. A quarter arrives at genesis and the rest in twelve monthly parts.
6.5 Who never receives it, and what never earns it
- Acepyr staff, and anyone barred as an insider, receive no season, testnet or community allocation.
- Nothing about a Claim earns it: votes, verdicts, condition results, consensus moments, the reputation score or the judgment record.
- Bringing other people never earns it. There are no referral rewards.
7. Supply and allocation
1,000,000,000 $ACEPYR, created once at genesis on Base. The token contract has no function that can create more.
| Bucket | Share | Tokens | How it is released |
|---|---|---|---|
| Season reserve | 50% | 500,000,000 | 16 equal quarterly seasons over four years, plus every token returned to it (Section 8) |
| Testnet | 15% | 150,000,000 | A quarter at genesis; the rest in 24 monthly parts, one for each month you trade |
| Community | 3% | 30,000,000 | A quarter at genesis; the rest monthly over twelve months |
| Team and contributors | 15% | 150,000,000 | Nothing for twelve months after genesis, then monthly over three years |
| Acepyr Inc. treasury | 17% | 170,000,000 | Locked. Used only for grants to verified people under a rule published in advance, never to creators, promoters or staff. Never sold or lent |
| Investors, as investors | 0% | 0 | Investors own equity in Acepyr Inc., which holds the treasury |
68% of supply goes to the people who trade and build on Acepyr. At genesis at most 4.5% of supply is in circulation: the first quarter of the claimed testnet and community allocations. (Proposal, apart from the testnet share and the 0% for investors.)
8. Season schedule
The season reserve is released over 16 quarterly seasons, the same amount each season.
| Year after genesis | Year total | Per season | Released so far | Share of supply released so far |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 125.0M | 31.25M | 125.0M | 12.5% |
| 2 | 125.0M | 31.25M | 250.0M | 25.0% |
| 3 | 125.0M | 31.25M | 375.0M | 37.5% |
| 4 | 125.0M | 31.25M | 500.0M | 50.0% |
These are maximums. A season releases only what traders earn under the cap in Section 6.2; the rest rolls forward. Tokens spent on fees, forfeited and unclaimed testnet parts, and unused community tokens all return to the reserve. After year 4, the reserve keeps releasing up to 31.25M a season for as long as it holds tokens. (Proposal.)
9. Trading and transfers
$ACEPYR is a standard token on Base. Once tokens are released to you, you can hold them in any wallet, send them to anyone or trade them with other people. What you do with released tokens is your decision.
What cannot move: locked tokens until their unlock ends, unreleased testnet and community parts, team tokens before their release dates, and the treasury. Contracts enforce this, not policy.
What Acepyr does not do: list $ACEPYR on any exchange or apply for a listing, pay listing fees, provide liquidity, hire or pay market makers, or run any market for it. Any market for $ACEPYR is made by other people.
Buying toward a tier. Tokens you buy from other people count toward your tier the same way allocated tokens do. Holding tokens never earns a season rebate; only USDC paid toward Acepyr's share does.
Price. Acepyr publishes no price for $ACEPYR other than the averages it uses to value the token part of fees and the tier floors (Section 10).
10. Technical design
| Part | What it does | Who controls it |
|---|---|---|
| Token contract | Standard ERC-20 on Base, 18 decimals. All 1,000,000,000 tokens are created at genesis. No function can create more, pause transfers or freeze balances, and the contract cannot be upgraded | Nobody, from genesis on |
| Lock contract | Holds tokens you lock, sets your tier, runs the 30-day unlock | You. Acepyr can read it but can never move your tokens |
| Market contract | On each trade you sign, reads your tier, takes the token part of Acepyr's share from your wallet up to your maximum, and sends it to the season reserve. The creator's 0.25% is never touched | The tier table and token rate are fixed in each market contract version and never change for Claims launched on it. The market holds no $ACEPYR after any trade |
| Release contracts | Hold the season reserve, testnet, community, team and treasury buckets and release them on the published schedules, to wallets with a fresh pass | Schedules are fixed at genesis |
Price used for the token part of fees. With each trade pass, Acepyr's verifier signs the token's 24-hour and 30-day average prices from on-chain markets Acepyr does not run. A quote lasts 120 seconds. If no market holds at least $25,000 of liquidity within 2% of the price (proposal), no quote is issued and the fee is paid fully in USDC. A quote changes only how much $ACEPYR a trade uses, never how much USDC Acepyr receives.
Sanctions. A wallet on Acepyr's on-chain sanctions list cannot claim, lock, unlock or use the discount.
Security. Every contract is audited by two independent firms before genesis, and the reports are published. A bug bounty runs from the first audit (proposal).
Where Acepyr sits. Acepyr runs the app, the verifier and the release schedules. It never holds users' funds or keys, and every movement of a user's tokens happens in a transaction that user signs.
11. When
| Stage | Token |
|---|---|
| Now | None. A planned feature only, with no sale and no promise |
| Real-money Belief Tokens launch | None. Trading before genesis earns nothing |
| Genesis: after counsel's written opinion and a lawful route | Live on Acepyr's share of the fee for every Claim launched from then on. Season 1 and the testnet claim window open |
12. Who can take part
- Where Acepyr serves. Allocations, releases and the discount are available only to verified people whose home address and connection are both in a place Acepyr serves. At launch that is Hawaii, Montana, New Hampshire, Wyoming, Utah, Texas and South Carolina. Other states open one at a time with counsel's sign-off. New York is never served. California, Louisiana, Minnesota, Colorado, Illinois from 2027, and New Jersey until Acepyr is licensed there, are blocked. Outside the US, countries open one at a time; the European Union, the United Kingdom and sanctioned countries are blocked.
- Privacy. Identity data is used to verify you, enforce one share per person, apply limits, location and sanctions rules and insider bars, and meet reporting duties. Records are kept for five years. Acepyr never publishes or sells individual identity data. Anything published about $ACEPYR allocations is by wallet or in aggregate.
13. Who is behind it
- Issuer. Acepyr Inc., a Delaware company run from Hawaii and registered with FinCEN as a money services business, or a subsidiary that counsel recommends (to confirm).
- Team. Luis Lee, founder and chief executive. Brandon Kim, co-founder and chief operating officer. Nihaal Chadha, platform infrastructure.
- No proceeds. Acepyr raises no money from $ACEPYR. Nothing is sold, so there is nothing to spend.
- Conflicts of interest. Acepyr Inc. holds the 17% treasury and the team holds 15% on a vesting schedule. Both gain if $ACEPYR is in demand. That is why the treasury can never be sold and the team's tokens are locked on-chain on a published schedule.
- Staff trading. Staff never buy $ACEPYR, and sell vested team tokens only under a plan published in advance. Every team wallet is published.
14. Reporting and changes
Every season ends with a public report: supply in circulation, tokens returned to the reserve, the season's total and how much of it was earned, the amount rolled forward, unlocks, treasury and team balances, and every contract and company wallet address.
How this paper can change:
- The commitments in Section 3 never change.
- Numbers marked proposal become final at genesis and are published with the contract addresses.
- The tier table, token rate and cooldown are fixed in each contract and never change for Claims and locks already made under them.
- Season and allocation rules can change at most once a quarter, with 30 days' public notice. No change is ever retroactive, and no change reduces a release already earned.
- The total supply and the allocation table never change after genesis.
15. If Acepyr stops or changes hands
- Discounts on existing Claims can never be removed. Acepyr can only stop launching new Claims on a market contract version.
- If Acepyr stops operating, the discount continues on any Claim still trading, and season releases stop. Locked tokens stay yours to unlock.
- If Acepyr is acquired, the commitments in this paper are terms of the program and pass to the acquirer.
- Whatever happens to Acepyr, the token contract and the supply cannot change, and your locked tokens can always be unlocked after the cooldown, unless your wallet is on the sanctions list.
16. What $ACEPYR is not
- Not an investment. Nobody pays Acepyr for it. Every token is allocated, earned as a rebate, granted, or bought from another person on a market Acepyr does not run.
- Not a share. It carries no claim on Acepyr's revenue, profit or assets.
- Not held for its own sake. It is used up: spent against a fee and returned to the season reserve.
- Not supported by the company. Acepyr never buys it, never pays to support it, and never funds anyone who does.
17. Taxes
In the United States, tokens you receive as a rebate, an allocation or a grant are likely taxable income at their value when you receive them, and tokens spent on fees may be a taxable disposal. Acepyr may ask for a tax form before a claim above the reporting threshold (to confirm with Acepyr's accountants). Ask a tax adviser about your own situation.
18. Risks
- It may never launch. $ACEPYR needs counsel's written opinion and a lawful route. If neither arrives, there is no token.
- Classification. Rules for crypto assets are being written now. A regulator could treat $ACEPYR differently from this paper's design, which could change it, delay it or end it.
- The platform. The discount applies only to Belief Token trades. Acepyr runs from Hawaii under a state agency's policy, not a statute, and serves only states that need no licence. If that position changes, or Acepyr must stop serving a state, the discount has less to apply to.
- Use. The token is only as useful as Belief Tokens are to trade. If trading is thin, the discount is worth little.
- Price. Acepyr provides no liquidity, so the price may swing widely. Your saving does not depend on the price, but the value of tokens you hold does.
- Price quotes. If no market is deep enough, no quote is issued and you pay the full fee in USDC.
- Immutable contracts. Claims launched before genesis never carry the discount, and a bug in a deployed contract cannot be patched.
- Base. An outage of Base stops trades, locks and transfers until it recovers.
- Your keys. If you lose access to your wallet, you lose your tokens. Acepyr cannot recover them.
- Releases. Season and testnet releases may add tokens faster than people use them.
- Concentration. The treasury and the team together hold 32% of supply.
- Taxes. Tax treatment of tokens is unsettled and may change.
- Change. Every number marked proposal can change before genesis.
